Okay, i'm not sure what is wrong here. In the deva quest, the demon won't follow me through a protal, but stays like he is a summoned creature. any thoughts? should i ctrl+Q him into the party?

Try talking to him, once he is an ally he should have dialog options that make him move into the area you desire and join you there.

Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.
