Hello,

Sorry for being such a bother .........
But i have the follwoing question:

I made a new run through BG2 with TBP, CTB, Tashia, Redemption, FR-ROV and Ruad.
To obtain Tashia i went to trademeet as soon as i could in chapter 2. I went to cernd in the dungeon and now i have the following problem:

When i try to enter the druids grove for solving the trademeets quest i get a CTD ( That happens if i have cernd as a companion or if i don`t )


Anyone has any ideas ????

same idea as always for an CTD on entering an area: somehow one of the area files has been corrupted: so try removing AR1900.BCS and/or AR1900.ARE from yr override folder and trying again.

my guess is CtB, but i've had some weird experiences with FR/ROV on occasions (although never in the druid's grove). at any rate, when ya get a CTD upon entering an area, try removing the .BCS and .ARE files for that area from the override folder and trying again.

v.150 apparently corrects this issue

*Uses WEIDU version 162
*Corrected the .tp2 error where CtB attempts to alter the Bridge District but causes a fatal game crash.
*A possible crash to the Druid Grove (AR1900) has been investigated and resolved.

Thank you very much, but i have v. 150, so this isn`t the solution. However after skimming through the forum for half an hour , i found the solution: I deleted AR1900.bcs and .are and everything went smooth. I plan on restoring it after leaving the grove.

However I am unable to defeat Faldorn, anyone has a good tactic for defeating her ????

You should get the option to stick Jaheira in the ring she's a lot more effective than Cernd who is about as much use as a chocolate fireman.

You might want to load her up on potions before she gets in, cast ironskins, or I used that TDD spell that allows you to do double damage, alternatively in the ring cast a few monster summoning spells, a few offensive ones like insect swarm and faldorn will be pushing up daisies in no time. If your having trouble with faldorn your gonna have real problems with a certain katana wielding wu-jen, *giggling quietly to herself.

Actually there is a much better way which in the last 3 times I?ve done this quest has worked every single time.

***Spoiler alert**** if you don?t want this fight to last 3 rounds stop reading now. Its quiet simple faldorn wastes precious rounds casting ironskins and insect plague and such like. So rush her and her crack her skull before she has time to cast spells even though your beating her like a gong she?s still tries to get spells off, bless. Anyway, after she?s finished casting with nothing to show for it she should be just about ready to transform and a few more cracks with a staff and she?s finished.
