Honestly? I thought it was Way-Do.....

I only know what I have been told, and how I've pronounced it in discussions with modders. I think it might be mentioned in the WeiDU ReadMe or something.

It couldn't even read them Anyway there were only a few I've redone some of them they didn't take long.

Can anyone point me in a wand Tutorial's direction?

There are some good item tutorials on the tutorials board. What I'd suggest is to look at a good basic tutorial first. Then take an item that's similar to what you want to make (say a wand of frost), and then alter it until it does what you want it to do.

If you can't figure out how to add a certain effect to a wand and make it work, take a look at items or spells that use that effect and see how it's done there.
