I know *some* people like it - but I think he looks infinitely cuter without it.
It's just a matter of taste, really.

I myself have a sort of love/hate relationship with the dreaded nosering. Sometimes I think it's intriguing, others I think it's quite stupid.
Then there's always the chance of some orc ripping it out and ruining his perfectly lovely face...

Why not edit his portrait with photoshop(or any other digital art program) by using the stamp tool and make it as if it were never there ! Simple overriding .. (Unless it has something to do with the mod hehe, I didn't play it yet, I was playing bgt-bp-nej and I just arrived in amn and thought "Humm, the only romance available for a women is anomen, and I hate him !". So I remembered this mod ^^).

Yes, that could be done.
However, I still prefer his BG1 portrait, because for some reason they also made him gain a lot of weight and about ten years for BG2...

Yes, that could be done.
He gained the ten years after worrying about <charname>. Yeah that's it. I think he looks more grown up but not older.... Did that make any sense?

Erm... as the resident Edwin portrait manipulator, I would agree that the vanilla Bg 1 Edwin portrait is the best for Eddie.
