Edit: Found it. Best place to find a good item is kill the person wearing it.

It is in the game (overpowered item for a BG1 game but typical of DSotSC). I don't remember where it was located. I tried to match all the container items between the original mod and this one. I may have missed that item or placed it somewhere else. It should be in the mod somewhere.
Edit: Found it. Best place to find a good item is kill the person wearing it.The cloak is on a boss, down past Ferthgil, in the drow/duergar caves.
Thanks, I saw that, I just thought it was in a different location. I thought it was in the third place you met Lord Daerthmac just before you reached his coffin. Speaking of which I had a hell of a time killing that boss in the drow caves. It turned out that his script caused him to cast a heal spell every time his hit points went below 74. Does that sound right? In my battle he cast ten heal spells (rather excessive I think for a 16th level mage, isn't heal a cleric spell?). It would require my 8th and 9th level party (which is actually high for this point of the game) to deliver 75 hitpoints of damage in one round against a character with an AC of about -15 and and 83% magic resistance. I used ctrl-y to take care of him because I didn't think this was what was intended.

He usually doesn't last that long. I think I remember only 1 or 2 heal spells, not that many. I guess it also depends on the weapons you use. I have Imoen fire dispel arrows into him and have everyone else just pound on him. If others are seeing this problem also, I can always step it down to under 25% instead of 75%. By the way, Heal is now a 9th level mage spell. You should find the scroll somewhere around him.
You're right, and in looking over his .cre file I think arrows of biting might work as well as cold based spells if they can get past his magic resistance. The way the script is set up for him during the first 5-10 rounds he has other things to do beside cast heal, however, in my game I didn't kill him right away (I focused on the other mages and priestess), he did those other things and then he kept on casting heal. Perhaps you could also set it up so that he casts heal 2 or 3 times (I don't know how it's done exactly but I've seen it done before).
Thanks for answering my questions.
