You'l have to forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly.

Can I garner a few opinions on: -

1) Why there aren't any Kelemvorian knights in the Order.
2) How is Kelemvor seen/perceived by the other 'Paladin-esque' Gods?

Cheers,
Seif

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

You spelled it correctly. Well, Kelemvor is the god of the dead, but the dead are something that don't require so much attention than, say, UNdead that need to be destroyed. So, paladins in general destroy undead, and thus, protect the peace of the dead and so forth. So, there isn't so many paladins dedicated to the protection of the dead, because all of them do guard the peace of the dead in their own way. That would be my explanation. Kelemvor's status might take a slight chip because he was once a mortal. But as I'm not an expert at that, I'll leave that to others to explain.

What is Kelemvor's alignment?

Lawful neutral as far as I recall.

I can't remember off-hand who he swiped the portfolio but I thought that there was duality to how he approached the dead. Namely: -

1) That undeath is an unnatural state and they strive to prevent it and;
2) Some undead are seen as spirits that are unable to rest and that these are approached with pity rather then hatred.

Is there anything in the literature, canon or otherwise that has a Kelemvorian knight at al?

One reason for his apparant absence from knightly orders could be his deific youth. :) I assume to become a knight one has to serve in training for a long time, and since he's only been a god a decade or so he's probably not had worshippers long enough to permeate the knightly orders too well.

I assume the Radiant Heart is supposed be an order dedicated to the Triad, but unfortunately Bioware messed up. The Triad is Torm, Tyr and Ilmater, whereas of course in BG2 members of the Order serve Torm, Tyr and Helm.

There are several other gods who have paladins but aren't represented in the order, e.g. Mystra, Milil, Hoar, and Sune.

I still don't understand why Sune can have pallies.... she's CG.

From what I remember in 3rd edition there is an Prestige Class - Doomguard of Kelevor (or something like that), that is "kind of" paladin for Kelemvor.

I believe you have to be LN, not LG, to qualify for that one. I'd not say it was a Paladin but more an exemplar of Kelemvor's ideals.

Can't say I have any pdf's or links right now to say but Kelemvor firmly believes in detsroying undead so there are some undead hunters or paladins who hunt dead that pay homage to him, which makes him a stalwart ally of Lathandar. Althought Kelemvor is LN himself he has a fair number of LG worshippers because he is slightly more aligned that way. Kinda like how Helm is LN but has paladin orders dedicated for him and generally he acts good aligned but his portfolios limit him to being neutral.

It is in Faiths and Pantheons, so I'd have to find out my copy. Plus I dunno if posting full stats is breach of copyright or not. But if Guest is Seifer, I could chat with you about it when you return.
