With the large amount of free AD&D sources I have found over the past few months, I have decided to provide the community with the 3 prominent sources that should cover every single wizard spell (including extremely rare or forgotten ones), in addition to a good number of priest spells.

Source #1: Smoden's Compiled AD&D Rules

This source contains all of the common 2E wizard and priest spells. This does not include quest spells or 10th level wizard spells. Spells such as Flamestrike, Prismatic Sphere, and Magic Missile are included.

Source #2: Spell Inventory 2E

This source contains all of the common 2E wizard spells, in addition to some of the rarer ones. It has a very nice search feature. Although it includes more than 2000 spells, most them are left blank becuase they are extremely rare. Spells such as Gust of Wind, Alustriel's Mantle, and Mystic Sphere (Phaerimm) are included.

Unlike the previous sources, this one is dominated by rare and forgotten spells. Many of them originate from various parts (and times) of the forgotten realms setting (and even from other worlds), so there quite a variety of sources. Spells such as Sunfire, Deathbolt, and Sunscream are included.

If someone finds any more reliable (and large) online AD&D sources regarding spells, this thread is a good place to post them.

Nightmare, I would strongly recommend merging this thread with the one for "links" to avoid slipping.

I'm planning to eventually create a new "on-line resources" thread sometime, which will have not just spells, monsters, maps and timelines but all sorts of other things (e.g. items, countries, gods, planes).

I have a b lot of bookmarks to sort through for this, so it may take a little while . The Index of Questions & Answers will hopefully get a (much needed) update soon as well.
