If I wanted to install the Weidu versions of BGT, TDD, SOS, and TS, what files would I need and where would I get them?

Right, I read that, but not exactly what I was looking for. I only plan on installing BGT-Weidu, TDD-Weidu, SOS Weidu, TS-Weidu. I have no plans to run another mega BP et al . . . install until Horred completes BP 170. A couple of years of watching various installs go up in flames has cured me of that itch. Based on what I've been reading, there are several corrected tp2 files for the various weidu versions that need to be tracked down.

You are right Mark, there is not 1 set of install instructions for what you are trying to do. I am not sure if it has been done yet with the latest versions of TS-WeiDU, SoS-WeiDU, TDD-WeiDU and BGT-WeiDU.

I can swear that I read a walkthrough of a Weidu install somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't remember where. They said the updated tp2 files were available at horred's site on yahoo, but I couldn't find them there. Let me double check on that and I'll get back to you. Good lord, I feel like Homer Simpson. I went back to Horred's Big Picture site on Yahoo and there they were. Doh!!!

In The Wizard's mirror site for BGT-Weidu is a Readme with an installation guide. Besides, there are some posts in this forum where KD states what's the most stable combination of Weiduized mods up to date. Sometimes there's more help in the regular topics than in the pinned ones.

Thanks, I went through KD's list of compatible and stable mods. TS isn't in there, so I'll not install it. Liked Kachiko, didn't give a rat's ass about Yoshimo, so no great loss. At the moment, I'm trying to get the house ready to sell, and preparing to move to Tennessee. About half way home from Houston. That and I'm working through a NWN mod that Horred suggested I take a run at. Life should settle down in a few days and I can then go and rebuild my BG install from my back-up.

U know God doesn't exist, don't u? To say "God's country" is like saying "Santa Claus' country" (well, it's Finnland, but that's another issue).
On-topic: I'm also planig on a BGT reinstall, but am waiting for a more stable an bugless version of the Weidu version. I'd like to play the DSotSC, NTotSC and the latest NeJ2 versions, so in the meantime, I'm palying vanilla BG2 multiplayer with my brother and a friend.

'God's Country' is a old term for a region of the US.

I will have the DSotSC, NTotSC, BoneHill, and BG1NPC mods all tested for the Weidu-BGT soon. I haven't even had time to download the Weidu package and look at it yet. Since they were all built using BP, I am not sure what changes I need to make until BP 1.7 comes out. Hopefully, very little.

By the way, it is called God's Country because if he lived on earth, he would want to live here. Rolling hills, untouched forests, good hunting and fishing, not too hot/humid and not too cold. Of course civilization is overdeveloping all of it, but that is a different issue.

Tejas is called God's Country as well. Probably for different reasons. If you want a cure for whether there is a god or not, sit through a couple of courses in process theology. You'll have formed an opinion, one way or another, not that it truly matters in the grand scheme of things. The only ones who actually know aren't in position to tell us about it.

In any case, I'm moving to the extreme western end of Tennessee, not all that rolling and definitely hot and humid in summer.

Memphis is a bitch in the summer. Extremely hot. Not like Houston but still bad.

Hey, if you are still planning to build out these mods together, tell us the results.

Houston has only 2 seasons. Hot and not quite as hot. From what I hear, Memphis actually has at least three seasons. I don't relish the idea of an actual winter, not having seen one in 10 years, but a change will be nice.

I am planning on trying to build out the Weidu mods, but I'm not going to begin any new projects until after the move has been completed and life has resumed some semblance of what I consider normalcy. I'd say, first of September. Right now were doing the old British thing, hanging on in quiet desperation.

Had a little disaster on Wednesday. Had to reinstall everything from scratch. My entire collection of BG materials went down without a trace. No time for tears, I've got a fresh, clean, patched install of BGI and BGII in place. I've downloaded the newest SoS Weidu, TDD Wwidu and it's patch, and the latest BGT -Weidu, the next question I have is, has anyone come up with a site for TS 6.0 or a work-around for TS 6.02?

I'm going to leave NEJ out for the moment, at least until Horred is done testing his newest BP. The idea of beta testing the new BP sounds really cool, but I'll let the young-un's have all the glory. :coolthumb: (Besides, I think it's invitation only.)

At the moment, I'm pulling down the various components of Bone Hill, Dark Side, and Northern Tales because what kind of BG install would it be without SBB's handi-work.

From what I've gathered, I'll also have to pick up the new worldmap mod and the updated balderdash fixes. My oh my, the world has certainly changed. As soon as the downloading stops, I'm going to try and fire this puppy up and give it a go.

Good luck with it all. Ensure you install SoS before TDD AND that you get the TDD fixed.zip and TS biffer.zip for the TDD and TS60 installations respectively from the yahoogroups BP site. No workaround for TS6.02 as of yet, but something is boiling up soon.

Regarding TS6.02, I've seen in TheWizard's mirror there's a "corrected TS6.02 .tp2", what does it fix?

Ask Vlad. He is in charge of what he puts in the ts folder of the servers. Therefore, I am 95% certain that that has nothing to do with BP/BGT compatibility.
