Ok after killing Banco the lich and his merry band of thayan's and leading my battered party to the nearest inn to recharge, I got the cutscene involving Edwin's mother. The problem is the game doesn't exit the said cutscene after she departs. Mod Wise I have Chloe, BP and Happy Group so one of them could be causing problems but I would appreciate some help on how to fix this problem.

I can't rightly say what causes this, I've never encountered this particular problem myself. It seems fairly likely it's caused by interaction with one of the other mods, yes. It seems to me that the most likely one would be BP, as I understand it that's the one that makes the most changes of the ones you have listed. I think I would start out with uninstalling the mods to begin with, including Edwin, then reinstalling them one at a time and seeing what happens.

No luck, Is there anychance I can prematurely end the romance with shadowkeeper? From what I've gathered from this forum this is the last encounter of the SOA portion of the game.

You can always end the romance by setting EdwinRomance to 3 via Shadowkeeper. And yes, meeting Edwin's mother is the end of the SoA part of the romance, but of course you'd be missing the Tree of Life romance lines for Edwin if you terminate the romance early. (As well as Edwin being abducted by Bodhi if you haven't done that part already.)
