I've handled the document ( don't remember the exactly name ) to the book merchant in saltmarsh, and he asked me to return in a week. The time has passes but when I talked to him nothing about it happens, he only sells his books. Is this a bug or it is not in the mod yet ? I'm using the last patch.........Thx

Mauro you should register as a member. You post frequently and it would be nice to see your contact information.
I don?t recall a book merchant but I have been using my version mainly as an NPC testing ground. Anyway?you should join this board, you always have a lot of good questions! I will go through again and look around to see if I can find the book merchant and se if I have the same problem. Give me a day or two if nobody else helps.

I think this might be a future adventure for Rurik...maybe Sir BillyBob can shed more light. Many of the future adventure hooks are starting now. A good example is Blush's cut scene with Althon. I think the quest won't begin until the near future that's why their is no response yet.

Spoiler ***********

This is the beginning of the Forge of Fury mod. In the Sunless Citadel mod, you find a document about the abandoned dwarf mine. In the Forge of Fury, you go explore it. Duergar, orcs, troglodytes (hmm, we don't have them in BG), undead (everbody loves undead), and a black dragon! Should be fun.

I picked this up a few months ago in a bookstore. It is a current D&D mod. My plan is to have this as Rurik's big quest. However, you can do this without him if you want. You will not be able to do this without finding the original document and taking it to the book merchant (good job figuring that out!).

When I have it built, he will give you directions to a location he thinks the mines are located in. This is not on your map yet, I haven't even begun to work on that mod yet. You will do this after/during the slaver series, I think. I haven't decided on the timeline yet. If too early, the fights will be too hard (can any level 5 player really fight a black dragon?), if you wait too long, the fights will be very easy.

You will have to start over. This is because of the Worldmap. There will be some additions to it. A copy of the map is saved into each of your saved games, so if I change the master map, only a new game will see it. You can avoid this if you know how with NI. Otherwise, just about everthing else should be the same.

Ive Completed the Haunted House quest and now i must wait for the Guard captain to arrange a meeting with the nobles, so in the meantime ive got visiting the book merchant, first talk he say he's happy to finally manage to keep them finally quiet, so i choose to excuse me for bothering him just now. It close the dialogue.
I talk to him a second time, this time he only let me ask for the books he as to sell..

Sic, what's wrong. How can i continu the dwarves quest ?

You can't. That dialog option doesn't allow you to go back and ask about the document. It doesn't matter right now, there is still no quest at this point in the game. I probably won't get to it until this summer or later.
