Hi.
I dont know where I can post stuff like this, but I wonder how many of you use 3d acceleration, and what effect does it have on the game?

Because when I switched mine on the game became skippy/jumpy but it didnt happen with my old computer.
Back then I had a Voodo 5 card, now I have a Asus ATI RADEON 9200SE

This is more a gereral BGII question try this or get one of the admin types to get you shifted over there. I'm not sure how much difference you get with 3d acceleration, my game graphics are fine without it. The only possible reason I can come up with is this is an old game, I mean old, my brother got me this game 4 years ago, your super duper Asus ATI RADEON 9200SE is probably just too much for it. :naughty:

It is not the problem with too fast GFX...just the new Catalyst are buggy and all IE games could work incorrect when 3D Acceleration is ON...this problem could be resolved by using the old one drivers to ATI...however those deal problems with i.e. NWN...From my all knowledge (ATI users from 3 years) they're the best PC cards for the effects they're in-build...they're also quite powerfull...but they're REALLY lacking good universal drivers...ATI patch he one bug and uncover another...it is endless :/
