hi folks,
from what i read you guys are doing great work.
i reinstalled bgII after an eternal abstination. i'm just nearly finishing SoA/TDD and i want to restart with a multiplayer party. since i already know tdd i searched for other mods - always ;-) ending up on this page
i was happy to read that you guys succeeded in melting SoS and TDD.
now my myriads of questions:
i read the manual about installation (the great pdf file from yazzuie). but now i realise searching the forum that there's already a TDD 105 available - with 100 mb instead of 300 in version 103 so i wonder: this is the FULL version ? where did the 200 missing mb go ? same for SoS.
i do not find the s_h patch for 161G, but in another thread i read about not applying this patch to the newer versions. and i read about a patch version 7 that is not to be installed if no problems occur... AND i read there are rules to obey for the tdd etc patches too. ok, that means that the installation guide is depricated. :crying:
is there any thread where a proper installation routine is documented, with dos and don'ts?

2 off topic questions (perhaps someone here is not offended by the questions and is able to answer) :

-installing itemupgrade v32 over tdd 103 causes the game to crash as soon as i wanted anomen to memorize specific level 7 spells. some spell do not even have an icon. the game crashes sometimes when i want to pick up some items
i read about version v29 of item upgrade to be compatible with BP - so what about v32 ?

-my game does not run smoothly. every 2 seconds the game freezes for half a second. i have a pretty good pc (2.4 giga, radeon 9500, 512 mb) and i play on high end pc, but i tried the lower one as well - still the same problem.

thx in advance

check this post
http://www.shsforums...ndpost&p=228840

u will need to wait a bit , i think, before the v.1.7 of BP become avaible, but u can play without it

if the size of some mods is fairly smaller , it's due to the optimization package, and removal unused ressources. So yes all what u need for each mod is there

ease of use v32 works properly with the new version of the mods (i play with actually), simply install only the components noted in the manual. The manual is somewhat outdated but u can still refer to it.

rules to obey (hope i won't forget some or make a mistake)
avoid to mix non-weidu mods & weidu mods (i learnt that myselft :P)
follow the install procedure in the links : basicaly u install :
Large Mods > Small Mods > Fixes
exception are some compatibility fixes, but it's always indicated.
When new fix uninstall old one, and install the new one

That's all i think
