Is there one or any one with a confirmed, working method for installation on Mac?

Can anyone on the Windows side tell me what these .mus files are and if that snd2acm.exe utility is used to convert it to an IE audio format?

The .mus is an IE audio format, actually.

Info on the .acm here.

No idea about Mac, though ;).

There is a Mac version of wav2acm here: http://ire.mainecoon...toms/weidu.html (scroll down the page a bit).

Seems the Windows version of the installer completely ignores the .mus files and just converts an .ogg version of the .mus sounds to .wav and then to .acm. Hmm, no clue why these .mus files are here then.

.MUS files are text files. They are the playlists that tell the engine how to play the various music files.

So can someone on the Windows side tell me where exactly the installer places these files? In the override folder?

I don't know what this mod does, but they should go in the music/ folder.

The installer places the mus files into ...\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\music directory.

The are new folders created: MxElle, MxIren, MxAbyss, MxTroll, MxHeal - inside files MxElleA.acm etc.

Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.
