Now, I've been doing my reading and have a pretty good idea of how all of this is supposed to work, but my question is this:
Where exactly am I supposed to find the latest version downloads of these mods? I checked the SHS download page and, unless I'm mistaken, this new version of The Big Picture is not there?
I'm sorry for being cluelessly new and posting on a forum full of people who've been playing with this stuff for years. I'm quite impressed with what I've read about The Big Picture and other mods in this community. It just seems like the community has been around so long and that it's done so much that there's not a whole lot of... "basic" information about the mods because most of the people here already know all the basics.
The things that intrigue me the most are BGT, BP, maybe one or two of the large "quest hub" mods I've read about (I know nothing about their content; I'm not too interested in extra NPCs or huge modifications to the spells / items of the game) and NeJ2 (I'm a bit iffy on that one, sounds neat but.. from what I've read it seems almost like a totally different game that doesn't really fit into BG2 but is still accessed via it right away in Irenicus' dungeon?).
The AI updates and such in The Big Picture sound great. From the reading I've done, it seems like I've chanced upon a pretty good time to look into all of this, as this "WeiDU" thing seems to be really tying these things together in a way previously not possible.
I'm not asking for a complete idiot's guide to this stuff or anything.
I've been trying to figure it out myself so as not to bother people or waste their time re-explaining things they've likely explained a thousand times. My main question is simply, where can I find the latest versions of this stuff so I can try to put it together?Thank you very much for your time to help a clueless newbie to this stuff.
