DOTSC- BGT - Weidu not installing HELP please

Hello,

I wanted to instal DOTSC yesterday, did a full install of BG + Expansion + patch and SOA + expansion + patch, then installed BGT, wich worked fine.
after that I wanted to install DSOTSC, but after a few seconds the instalation shows an error:
Error locating source for copy "AR8703" not found in keyfile -- what could that be?
the world map mod version 5 should be installed after DSOTSC and NSOTSC, right?
I havent installed it yet.
I was not sure in wich directory I had to extract the DSOTSC files, BG or SOA?!
I extracted it in both directories and tried to install, but I guess its the BG directory.
Can anybody help me please?
What did I miss? :mellow:

world map is installed at the end of all your mods. you extract DotSC to your BG2 main directory and also run the setup from there. if you did it from your bg directory it will not work and it will give you errors.

Thanks for the quick reply, it was how you said, I was instaling it from the wrong folder,
it seems to be working now, big thanks!
I assume I have to install world map mod and NSOTSC to my BG2 directory too...

everything gets installed from your bg2 directory. the bg1 is only used for the BGT conversion process.

well, instal of dsotsc and ntotsc worked, but worldmap v5 wont install.

logfile says:

WeiDU v 185 Log

{Setup-BGT.exe} Queried (pid = 200) version = 190 query done.
Newest WeiDU is version 190, updating!
WeiDU files in version order:
[Setup-NTotSC.exe] version 190
[Setup-GUI.exe] version 190
[Setup-DSotSC.exe] version 190
[Setup-BGT.exe] version 190
[Setup BP-BGT Worldmap.exe] version 185
[Setup-NTotSC.exe] loaded, 284160 bytes
Copying [Setup-NTotSC.exe] -> [Setup BP-BGT Worldmap.exe]: false


and then it interrupts... what have I done wrong again?
Is the worldmap file only for BP-BGT mega install or can I also use it only with DSOTSC and NTOTSC?
Worldmap Version is "BP-BGT Worldmap v5"

it's not 'not installing', it's simply updating itself from version 185 to version 190. you just have to run it again for it to install normally. and yes, you need the worldmap to use DSOTSC and NTOTSC.

it's not 'not installing', it's simply updating itself from version 185 to version 190. you just have to run it again for it to install normally. and yes, you need the worldmap to use DSOTSC and NTOTSC.



I have run the worldmap.exe at least 5 times, but it always interrupts at the same point...
do I have to instal the latest weisu version too?

make a copy of your Setup-NTotSC.exe and then rename it Setup BP-BGT Worldmap.exe and then run that new version, deleting the oldversion of your Setup BP-BGT Worldmap.exe first. It looks to be that its not letting it update. You can also check to see if your Setup BP-BGT Worldmap.exe is read-only, if it is then take the check out of the box read-only and try to run it again.
