Eddie TOB problem

Okay, the romance has been going smoothly in TOB up until now. The last LT we had was the "I've noticed you're growing" one after we finished the 2nd challenge in the pocket plane. So, we skipped off to Sendai's place, slaughtered her, finished the 3rd challenge in the pocket plane, and Eddie said NOTHING. I thought maybe there wasn't a LT that was supposed to happen at that point, so then we went and cleared out Watcher's Keep. Eddie was very quiet the whole time. Never once made a comment, not even after we kicked Babboon Man's arse, and then had our revenge on the false Helmites. We were about to go to Abazigal's place, when I decided to take a look at the explovetalk. Now, since I'm in the habit of keeping old saved games around out of sheer laziness, I looked at the explovetalk before we killed Sendai, and then again after we had done all the rest of the stuff. It was on 11 before Sendai, and still there after Sendai. Setting the edwinromance timer to 1 did absolutely nothing. Edwinromance is set at 2, and has been the entire time. I've tried setting the explovetalk thing back to 7, and then forcing all the following dialogues, but this time nothing happened after the whole Dekkie thing.

Solaufein (not romancing him, I just want his quests and auto-buff scripts)

G3 anniversary mod

Anybody know what went wrong, if anything? I've stopped playing TOB for now just because it isn't fun without Eddie working.
