I'm trying to make Spell Immunity to protect caster against his own area-affecting spells. I have no success here.
Glode of Invulnerability does give protection against caster's web - it adds protection from Spwi215 which is web.
I've added this effect to Spwi595 (Immunity: evocation) but it does not work!

I'm confused. Can anyone explain me how to make it work properly?

I know that if mage protected by Globe of invulnerability casts Magic missile at himself he will get damage. But why then Web been casted not directly at mage doesn't affect him? Is there some trick?

I used dltcep for this.

No help? Please, I want to play solo-sorcerer.

Is there some editor for this?
Or perhaps I should look through .2DA files?

hrm, from his own area effect spells only... interesting challenge.

OK, we can look at the cloak of reflection (CLCK26) and ring of free action (RING09) to see the way to make things which protect against this generally.

For some of the things, you could make a script which turned on the protection effect for a few ticks just after casting; fireballs, for instance.
