In my mod I basically do nothing but pure evil. I have "fixed" many of the pre-existing quests to have horriffic endings (I actually help Reijek get rid of witnessess and frame the merchant for the skinner murders). Now I want a new quest to gather heads. I would like to make a new type of container that can only hold "heads", but this does not exist.

Is it possible to make an entirely different item type? I could fudge a few things and make the heads an obscure object, but even then you would be able to keep those obscure objects in there and I only want to keep heads in my bag of noggins...

There might be. There are some item types that don't appear to actually be used for much of anything, but I'm not positive. Tattoo, Lens, Telescope, Scarf, and Drink are on the list in DLTCEP, and I don't *believe* those are used for anything...

"Tyranny is a quiet thing at first, a prim and proper lady pursing her lips and shaking her head disapprovingly, asking, well what were you doing (wearing that dress, walking home at that hour, expressing those inappropriate thoughts) anyway? It's subtle and insidious, disguised as reasonable precautions which become more and more oppressive over time, until our lives are defined by the things we must avoid. She's easy enough to agree with, after all, she's only trying to help -- and yet she's one of the most dangerous influences we face, because if she prevails, it puts the raping, robbing, axe-wielding madmen of the world in complete control. Eventually they'll barely need to wield a thing, all they'll have to do is leer menacingly and we fall all over ourselves trying to placate them." -godlizard

Ah, yes, I see. There are several item types that I have not seen in circulation in the game. I will have to see if I can restrict a container to hold just those items. Once I have that narrowed down, I have to come up with 8 heads so I can make a quest: "Eight Heads in a Duffel Bag"

You can; take a look at the Scroll Case bag item to see how it's done (the "broken shield/bracelet" itemtype is, counterintuitively, the one used for the vast majority of books in the game). [EDIT]Correction: look at the item, and the Store file with the same name as the item.

Just out of curiosity, aren't duffel bags a little anachronistic?
