Ok, I have extracted all the Chloe files ya da ya da ya da... here's the problem:
When I run the Setup program this message continually shows:
FATAL ERROR: Sys_error("dialog.tlk: Permission denied")
Chloe appears in the game and the dialogue box opens - but no actual dialogue appears. She seems to respond if I hit a number on the keyboard, but again I can't see her dialogue or any dialogue options. Please help.
installation error - chloe has no dialogue!

Sounds like your dialog.tlk file is read-only. If you're using windows, then right-click it in BG2 folder, choose "properties" and remove "read-only" flag.

or you tried to install CHloe while you had the game running, or a game editor running - if yr dialog.tlk file is not read-only, the try re-installing Chloe after you've shut down the game and any and all game editors.
