Hi all,

Are there any published books or PDF materials at all that deal simply with the Monatic orders in Faerun at all? I'm mostly interested in the human ones?

I don't think there's ever been a book specifically about monks, but there are sections in other books which have some information. One useful download is the Web Enhancement for Faiths and Pantheons, which you can get from the Wizards web site. It's got a listing of Monk orders, including which deity they are associated with and usually a little more information. It doesn't include every Order, but the major ones seem to be there.

Some Orders are described in the books Champions of Valour and Champions fo Ruin, and Shar's Dark Moon monks get a write-up in Lords of Darkness. There's a bit about the Sun Soul Order in the latest Waterdeep book. There's also a Drow order mentioned in Underdark.

There are threads on the Candlekeep forums discussing monks, though I don't have direct links to those.

The one other source I can suggest is the 2nd edition Deity books (Faiths and Avatars, Powers and Pantheons, Demihuman deities) which often had information on groups associated with a religion. Those wouldn't include the Old Order, but it would give some idea of which deities sponsor monks and what those monks generally do.
