I've downloaded this new modding tool called dialog checker thinking it be sweet.

However, unfortunatly I code differently than is expected I think. The program checks .tra files. I however code in .d files and let WeiDu sort it out. Anywhere I can find a kind of dialog checker that checks .d files?

I found in someone signature. I'm searching aroung TeamBG for instance with some of their nice editors, but I can't find it.

Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.

If it's the one listed on the PPG mod list, it's some POS syntax checker, not something that can be put to productive use. The only thing it can do that WeiDU cannot find is finding find broken tags (~<CHARNAME something~ rather than the correct ~<CHARNAME> something~), but if you really need this feature I can add it to WeiDU.

Italian users: help test the Stivan NPC!

Author or Co-Author: WeiDU - Widescreen - Generalized Biffing - Refinements - TB#Tweaks - IWD2Tweaks - TB#Characters - Traify Tool - Some mods that I won't mention in public
Maintainer: Semi-Multi Clerics - Nalia Mod - Nvidia Fix
Code dumps: Detect custom secondary types - Stutter Investigator

If possible, send diffs, translations and other contributions using Git.

I also code in .d files, but when I've finished I run it through WeiDU to create a .tra file. I don't necessarily want the .tra file, but this way WeiDU tells me if I've made any obvious coding mistakes. I admit that the downside is that it doesn't give you the complete 'error' picture until you run an install.

I am not aware of any tools that do this; I think you may be refering to the TeamBG IDU which is very buggy and very restrictive?

I usely also run it through WeiDu, because I want .tra files :P. However, the description of where it fails, sometimes still doesn't help poor little bit dysletic me in finding the problem.
It would be cool to have some such feature in WeiDu

P.s. Thanks for quick comment both of you, and it is not IDU, but I can't seem to find the one the bigg mentions to see if that is true
