I have been trying to think of something all week but can't. Last week my DM said that our characters will be able to get a custume item, pretty much anything we think of goes. (so long as it is not too extravegant). My character is an elf who is a lvl 6 ranger, lvl 2 wizard, and lvl 1 arcane archer.
I am thinking of either getting armor that will not make me have spellfailure or some magic bow that will enchant my arrows. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do.
Now I do have a time limit on this...gotta think of something before 5:30 tonight when I leave for my game play, so any and all suggestions would be helpfull! Thanks!

Boots, belt, gloves, ring, or some such. Maybe even an unending quiver, with a certain type of arrows she favors, or maybe Drow Bane.

You'll find and lose thousands of bows and armors in your game.

And if your lucky your dm will like your creativity and make a bonus.

That said, possible enchantments might include, better Dex/Int. +_ to hit and/or damage. Automatic Still spell(okay probably rather overpowered). Some other useful feat.

Look here for more common armor enchantments (I'm sure some of them would work just as well for boots or other things)

armor with no spell failure or a never ending quiver are both excellent ideas. the wizard levels made me ditch my nice breast plate weeks ago (not like anything attacks me anyways).
and since I can get creative with this...a quiver of never ending arrows of some kind of enchantment can be NICE.

my friend (who has a druid) is planning on gettinig wild armor so she can shapeshift and keep the armor bonus.

You could get somesuch that allows you to wear light armor and cast spells, like the bards do.

As said, I would personally stick away from armors or weapons myself. However it is your character and B has more DnD, particularly PnP experience.

i am thinking the never ending quiver is the best idea. that is something i won't leave behind. I am fine on the armor thing for a few reasons,
1) no ever can get past the front line to me (they kinda have to get past a pally, two wolves, and a druid most likely in bear form)
2) I kinda have all the magical armor stuff the party has...

well i just thought I would let you guys know what I got. My DM would not let me get a never ending quiver for good reasons I found out later that night....
But what I got was an upgrade on my bow. It is now a Mighty Composite Bow +3, +2 drow bane. So it does +3 damage cause of my str, +2 damage for magic, and an added +2 damage if I am fighting a drow.
I got to test it out last night on some imps and a shadow hound. It is a NICE bow. And since I am an Arcane Archer...I get to add an added +1 of magical damage to my arrows. So I add 6 damage over all to my damage roll for non drow enemies. (I add an extra +8 for drow enemies )

oh also the reason why I did not want the quiver...it turned out we got pushed into a portal which has now dropped us into a different world and all holding items (ex. our bag of holding) lost its magic. So my new quiver would kinda of gone dead. Thankfully my DM was nice enough to kinda hint that I did not want that item before that happened!
