I've just finished doing the first two quests for Scar and im delayin on the 3rd to finish up the other quests, I'm lookin all around for Duke Eltan for the NTotSC quest for the Northern Citidel, however, I cant find him... Theres a guard inside the flamin fists castle who tells me I can find Eltan up the stairs behind him, but the stairs dont seem to go anywhere.....I had a quick look on a brief area guide, which does show there is a 2nd level with the duke and his room, so I've tried movin the mouse all over and around the stairs behind the guard, but im just not gettin the option to go up them.

Am I supposed to do something first to allow me to go up them, or is there a problem with my game?

You can only talk to the Duke when Scar takes you to see him. This mod doesn't change that part of the game. It will have the Duke give you the quest, but it is just part of his normal dialog to you.

Ahh, I see, a simple case of me needin to complete Scars quests before i can do it then, cheers, I will get on with the other quests that need to be done before shuttin myself of from the gate and gettin sent to candlekeep ty

btw, exerlant quest modules, I really enjoyed DSotSC, espacilly the hard battle on the nephews quest, had to change my tactics 3 times before I managed to do it, been a lot of hack and slash upto now am lookin forward to the main NTotSC quest
