SHS Fanfiction Challenge #2

fanfictionlogo.jpg

SHS Fanfiction Challenge is a monthly challenge where everyone can submit their entries related to the challenge genre.

The challenge is open to everyone and there is no limit on the length or number of the entries submitted. It can be any kind of game.

Here's our second challenge theme:

Theme: Fall of your Favorite Antagonist

Before the Beginning (A Villain's Story)

Every sage has a beginning. But sometimes the most important event happens long before our story begins, with our villains. Long before our hero seeks to save the world, our archnemesis begins a journey of his own, though much darker. So tell us of those stories, as our villains begin on the paths that would make them those we fight.

How to join

Simply create a new topic, titled it with a prefix: "Challenge #2: ", followed by the title of your entry.

Comments, questions or suggestions about the challenges are welcome here.

Comments

Comments are most welcome, preferably directly in the entry topic itself.

Eh. And we're sorry for the delay in getting it up.

And whether it's TES, BG, IWD, NWN, KotOR, PST, or even something else please post it up here for us. Most of the villains do have an interesting backstory, even if the game designers didn't implement it the best.

With PT it would be problematic, as the major villain is actually yourself XD

But I see some potential there too. And yeah, I kind of wondered what may be wrong when you withdraw it day ago:| You wanted to wait a bit more for new entries? Or phrase the challenge in better way?

Though I am rather sure I won't participate in that one anyway^^'
'NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency! Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surpr-... I'll come in again.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!... Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms - Oh damn!'

We decided to rephrase the challenge entry, yeah. :) And the image wasn't correct. So, as Kellen said - sorry for the delay!

Well thank you to all who participated in this challenge. And I personally want to apologize for not doing so(well, not a new shiney anyway). I was planning on it and had started writing it, but each time I saw it I grimaced. And it only got worse, and I couldn't really get to finish it.

However with the new topic I do believe that I will have brand new topics, and all sorts of ideas are popping in my head, so look to the Fanfic Challenge #3, and give us your own too.
