After many years of avoiding the Big Picture mod like the plague(due to the vast numbers of entirely separate components, and the total lack of a proper installation-guide), I've now read the newest big Picture readme(1.77 Weidu version) and have decided to download it, due to new additions in it. Trouble is, as usual, no one has had the guts to post a decent installation-guide(just one for BGT - I don't want that one as I've already played through the BG1 game with Ttutu installed. Is there, anywhere a detailed installation-guide for the latest (non-BGT) Big Picture release(designed for BG2 with Darkest Day/Shadows Over Soubar/Tortured Souls/Check The Bodies mods?) If not, could someone please give me the exact details of how to install BG2 and the Big Picture? (I presume that the latest weidu versions are the most current, but have no idea whether the 1.11 version is solely for BGT-players or for standard Big-Picture players as well.

Just wanted to add that I'm planning on using the WEIDU-version mods, re installing. Are these OK or do I have to use the much older standard non-WEIDu mods.?

You can use the guide in this link. Just don't install BGT and the mods that go with it (DSotSC, NTotSC and Bonehill) as none of them are a requirement for the Mega-Installation. http://www.shsforums...showtopic=22224

Thank you for your request. The new install guide looks very fine. Nearly all known bugs from my current mega-mod are solved (but I am sure, you find some new). Based on this mega-mod, the next one reaches a higher level.
Although there are about twenty persons, who test the mod and report bugs, I am the only one, who develops this monster. I don't want to come out with a unready work as the existing one, but with a most playable. All the efforts are going towards compatibility. And this needs much more time to test then I can spend on. What has begun as a hobby, now ends in a hard work. But there is a real life beside BG! So I am sorry, you have to wait a few weeks until the next release. But then a new guide, of course also in Englisch, together with the needed fixes and some compatibility patches will be available.
King Diamond will be releasing new versions of TDD, SOS, CtB and ROT in the next few weeks with alot of bug fixes.

Damn, I've just spent half a day at the Internet Cafe downloading the whole lot(I don't have INternet-access at home). I suppose I'll have to wait at least a month before trying again. Thanks for warning me, though.
