I started playing a bit of GTA San Andreas Multiplayer and I must say it is a lot of fun. However, on the few maps I'm playing (mostly Bayside TDM) there are lots of cheaters (using an health hack, a weapon hack, etc.) and general idiots (E.G. teamkillers, spawn campers, heli/hunter/hydra killers), and there's never an admin to kick them. Is it like this also in other multiplayer games, or is sa-mp unlucky because, being a third party mod, it's grossly fat-client and thus cheating is easier?

Also, anybody else playing that? What are your favorite maps?

I've found that there are usually n00bs, idiots, morons, 1337-sp34kers, campers and other irritating people in pretty much every multiplayer game I've tried. That's why I don't play them anymore. ;)

The online game I play at the moment with a low quantity of griefers is Day of Defeat: Source. You can sometimes get some really lame people on CS: Source, though ;) .

I've played two MMOs. Guild Wars and one called Rappelz I stumbled upon. Both okay, but neither held my attention, though vary few games seem to do that these days.

For those, neither seemed to be too overbearing on unpleasant interaction with humans, but in the former I can avoid them at nearly all times, and when I can't I tend to ignore them. In the latter there seems to be little interaction save the towns, but still they aren't too irritating. Save when they take your kills.

Oh, great. At least I'm not paying $30 a month for the privilege of having a random idiot attack me (while he's on the same team) with a cheated-in minigun while using an health cheat and flaming ME as a cheater because he can't figure out that I'm on his team and the server makes you immune friendly fire.

The good part was to respawn on the other team and letting him discover that health cheats don't immunize you from knife assasination :D
