Is there some secret to downloading the 470 meg file? I have downloaded it 4 times, and each time my unpacking program tells me it has a file corruption. I have tried WinRAR, ZipGenius and FilZip. I have downloaded from SHS and from IEGMC. After 2 gigs of wasted bandwidth, I'm ready to give up, unless anyone has any suggestions.

Are you using a download manager? Something like GetRight or one of the other programs? The file on these sites should be fine, but if your connection is timing out during the download, the file will claim to be complete even though it isn't. I see this mostly when using IE for large downloads. Even M$ uses their own manager on the MSDN site.

I've downloaded it two times (one from here and one from IEGM and it downloaded correctly. I only use IE so it seems you may have something wrong, not the .RAR file.
By the way Sir Billy Bob, I made a mistake. The size of the .Rar file is 470 mb not 431 as I said.

I'm using IE without a download manager. It does not appear to have timed out. Each time the file size has been identical (482,048KB=470MB).

I tried a download manager and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the tip!

I know that this was resolved but I think that it should be known. On huge files like this one it is highly advisable to use a download manager, or the EOF may get misinterpreted and cause a bad RAR, or ZIP. I ran into those problems untill I started to use FireFox and it's Download manager. The timing gets scragged, and the browser interprets a section as EOF, even though it isn't. Thank Bill Gates for his kludgy coding.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for they are quick to anger and you are good to eat.
