Emanath CTD bug

I got a CTD while battling Emanath the mage in his pocket plane.He had already done most of his spells including time stop, and all his contingencies and triggers so he was about 40% of his life when the CTD occured. any idea why?

PS1 : btw i had another minor bug the green dragon before Emanath unfortunately damaged himself as well with the wing buffets not to mention that he was knocked unconscious by them.

Im sure it has something to do with BP dragon bug problems but still i wish i could someway fix it ( most probably all the dragons ill run into will have similar issues

PS2 : anyway im gone for 10 days vacation so I'll do more testing after that.

Very tough quest I must say, but I completed with no CTD. I looked at your weidu and you have the core stuff I have but a lot of other minor stuff that I left out. Probably everything is compatible or tested but there may be some files that may have gotten changed. I don't remember the dragon damaging himself. I would have liked that because he was one tough :cookie:

. Does your CTD happen just once/ I would retry as that happens to mine sometimes. I have fought 3 dragons so far and all I got was one slow down with Tapanasasomething form TDD. Maybe I can upload my .CRE and.BCS for those two when you get back as that may help.

Anyway I killed the mage and no CTD happened this time so i guess it was just random or perhaps a conflict with one of his spells or spell effects who knows.

King Diamond we never said this was "Rot" problem oriented.

And as for the dragon wing buffetting himself issue I also had that in the past in BP installations but I DID hope that overriding the dragon script with the tactic smarter dragons component that it would finally fix. Alas it didnt

So any suggestions about fixing the dragon buffeting himself and dropping unconscious issue would be gladly appreciated. The same problem in my installation will likely happen for ALL dragons in the game.

Haven't had the unconscious dragon issue except for one time... "The Great One" seems to have done it a couple times, but this is not crucial as he can wipe out your whole party in the blink of an eye! I think it is just a minor glitch as they are only unconscious for one second compared to the rest of the party. Like 2-3 rounds. I think BP just makes the dragons smarter even when they are not hostile, Firkraag or Thaxisisisisillya (aka Shadow Dragon) seem to nail you with Chromatic orbs or Acid arrows before you can say hello! If there are other components installed for Dragon AI then that may have an effect.

Oh and KD just meant that it was probably not RoT's fault exclusively since we all have mega mod-ster installs which is where most of our problems arrise. That is why I had the topic moved to megamod help. This way you get more help with megamod installations where a component or multiple ones conflict.
