Hi I'm at the cave where I'm supposed to get the Shadow Mark but once I talk to the shadow that's supposed to have it (middle one) he doesn't respond in any way...talk options to him are thus:
1.You have it! You have the mark.
2.The mark has been in your hands all along.Clever , Clever. now give it to me.
once I saw that it wasn't working I tried to skip it using ctrl+j to go kill that green golem thingy but once I killed it I still cant continue to the next map. it says "A shock of energy stuns you. You can't go forward."
can anyone help me please?
need some more RoT help please

Have you gone to Icewind Dale yet? I had that same problem with the shadows but I didn't go to the Dale before that and that makes the rest of the area (or final part of the area) impossible I think. If you have gone to ID and the shadows' dialog options are still messed then CLUAConsole:CreateItem("markshdw") and then you can proceed. Just make sure you have gone to Icewind first as that may be crucial for finishing the mysterious cave. I am testing to see that now because I ran into a game breaking problem at the end of the mysterious cave without going to Icewind Dale first.

i have the same problem. in what context do you have to go to icewind dale? or how do you go there. can you avoid the problem with the shadow mark by just goin to the following area with the cheatcode? if, what is the areacode for the following area? i would be happy to get some reply!!

You can go to IWD anytime when XP is at 1000000 and when Bruenor is freed. You can take him and Wulfgar.
The shadow thing had a dialog file or something that doesn't give the player the item. Just CLUA the item after the riddle with the shadows and you will be fine.
