Hello
Let me just say first that I am having a blast at playing all of the new versions of the mods with BP. It is also my first time playing RoT and CtB with the whole lot. Many thank u's to King Diamond again for updating and for bugzapping. Also to Azazello, Chev and Erebusant for their bug destroying  techniques
My question does not pertain to one mod as I have encountered it in others before. The creature animations change back and forth in combat. In my install now it is between a drider and a yeti. The description says Tundra Yeti and is in Icewind Dale. The creature is a drider(halfdrow/spider) but when I attack it or it attacks it shifts back and forth (drider-yeti) until dead. When it dies it is a drider. I had this happen also with Greater Mummy and or Greater Zombie where it looks like a drider. Don't get me wrong I think the driders are awesome custom creatures that look really cool in the Underdark. I almost flipped when I saw them. Like seeing a really cool special effect in a movie. Just wondering what causes it and is there any way I can fix these? Anything to check or edit with IE, NI or DLTCEP? I haven't had a lot of bugs in this install, so I guess I am just being picky.
Hopefully I can learn how to create my own creatures for a future mod and I want to avoid the mixed up animations.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Hop

That's a known animation conflict between NeJ and CtB. You can fix it locally by reassigning animations to the affected creatures in NI. I seem to recall that in my last NEJ-BP game, I had Wraiths and Doom Knights as Driders. All I did was choose a new, semi-appropriate animation for them in NI and kept on playing.

A quick browse through NI should help. Check ANIMATE.IDS for creature animations (if I recall correctly).

Edit: Oops! You don't have NEJ... Still, the process for manually changing the assigned animations is the same.

Ok yeah Derkoth, that did happen in NeJ once for me with some beetles that had the right descriptions but changed into yetis and back and forth. Seems like the same action should work as you described. I remember reading Vlad's tutorial for using IC animations but I forgot to look in the Animate.IDS. That's the key!! Thanks again for the assist!
Cheers

edit:OK I looked at Yeti1.cre which has the problem and in the edit section the animation says IC_LICH, I may change it to IC_CYCLOPS. Is that what you mean Derkoth?

All I did was choose a new, semi-appropriate animation for them in NI and kept on playing.

That could be BP connected issue. I don't remember if Horred switched animation for several BP creatures after I sorted animations list for big mods. There were some incorrect intersections... Still, this is not a critical problem. :)

I think what may happen is that many of the custom creatures use the IC_LICH animation. I see it for BP CtB SoS and RoT for different creatures. That could be why the animations switch back and forth.
