I don't know if this has been said before. But how about changing the Riddles... make like alot of riddles and then make them random throughout the game, like in Spellhold... all those riddles I know off by heart, I dont even have to read I know what is what by looking at the answers. If you make like 50+ really hard riddles and then randomize them through the game, I may actually start liking all the riddles agian.

Well plenty of mods these days involving NPCs are trying to implement good riddles. If you've got some to share, please do. :)
And wouldn't you know I happen to be one of those people looking to implement riddles in NPC talks now so I wouldn't mind hearing what you've got if you're willing. ^_^

And as for the randomising, not a bad idea, but not everyone appreciates losing to different riddles about 20 times before finally getting one right. We still want to keep the replayability for riddles implemented to a reasonable, but challenging standard. :)
So again, good idea, as long as it proves pratical

...but not everyone appreciates losing to different riddles about 20 times before finally getting one right.

So they aren't willing to use their minds, and perseptions to solve his riddles, and thus they fail, and thus it's their own fault, isn't it!

Hmm, the riddles in Spellhold are optional, as far as I remember- no need to reload 20 times if you donīt want to do them, right? And if you DO them, then it makes the reward justified, if you have to sprain your brain at least a little...

I for one would love to have randomized riddles. And could even aid in giving a few...okay many. All would be rhyming riddles though.
Steel is my body, fire is my blood.
I've created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death.
Nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons.
Yet, those hands will never hold anything.
So as i pray, "Unlimited Blade Works."--Archer from Fate/Stay Night

I guess I could think up a few riddles, but most of the ones I know are more for our world not the game world. So it would be fun to think up a few.

PS... Ya the reason I registered is because I have a fewmod ideas that I wish to try myself... I know it will be hard but I am reading and downloading everything I can on the subject, sadly code still makes me scratch my head in hopelessnessnesss  <_<  so I know it will take me a long time to get these two character ideas done, one has a possible romance, I know how they would act and how they would speak but the idea of making them scares me. School is starting on tuesday and its my last year of highschool, I never took any type of computer programming course but I wish to try doing this anyways. One of my characters will have ALOT of riddles but thats only if I can understand how to do it alteast   !
