I get to the install part and it continues to tell me that it is
"Unable to find DIALOG.TLK in : dialog.tlk"
Not sure what this means.. I have now tried to install about 4 rar mods unsuccessfully.. if someone could guide me to a tutorial or something I would be greatly appreciative...
Was trying to install the ChloeMod or Fade NPC... if that helps or sounds familiar to anyone...
I thought i had successfully installed the Fade NPC only to find that in gameplay her dialog doesnt appear at all just her picture and char...Can soemone be of assistance please...

Any other issues should be mentioned in your readme for the mod.
Be aware some mods, Fade and Chloe for example do have compatability issues at this current point.
Edit: eek, I'm talking like a snake nows? O_O

With .rar files, what you want to do is extract it (unpack it) to your game directory (usually C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA). This is very important. After you have done that, run the Setup-Modname.exe in the game directory.

Khadion NPC mod - Team leader, head designer
Hubelpot NPC mod - Team leader, coder

PC Soundsets - Coder, voice actor
Brythe NPC mod - Designer

The Jerry Zinger Show - Producer

And in this case one needs to remember to delete the for example \Chloe_v12 directory ending from the pre-made extraction path. With .rar files, what you want to do is extract it (unpack it) to your game directory (usually C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA). This is very important. After you have done that, run the Setup-Modname.exe in the game directory.
Or other way of going around this is to load the rar to where ever and extract it strait there, and go into the directory, and copy/paste the stuff(Setup-Chloe.exe , Chloe.tp2 and the Chloe directory) into the game directory (usually C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA) and run the Setup-Chloe.exe .
The NPC mods don't have any compatibility issues, unless you have other mods that add more songs to the play list, and a fix for that is this, it's the same as GUI.exe that comes with the BGT-WeiDU, but doesn't install any GUI. To find out more; This.Hmm... guess I'll reinstall it and hope it works and if not I'll try a different NPC.... curse compatibility issues!!!
