Hello,

In testing my latest install of mods, all went well as the party progressed through Irenicus' dungeon. The Chloe mod initiated properly. Then I had my fighter/mage case Stoneskin on herself, and got a CTD. I emptied the /cache/data folder and the /temp folder, then restarted the game and reloaded the saved game. Got Chloe into the party again, then saved. I had my fighter/mage cast Stoneskin on herself, and again got a CTD. I think this would happen if I tried again. I've used the same character in other games, and the game never had any problems related to her before. She hasn't leveled in the test game yet. She has several items, but no large quantities of anything.

Is there any known issue with Stoneskin causing such a crash? I wonder about this, because Imoen can cast it on herself with no problems, and I've used the same spell with the fighter/mage in previous test games. This is the first test game I've played since activating Icewind Dale casting graphics, so BG2 Tweaks may be the culprit. If I can get confirmation on that, it'll be a simple matter of uninstalling that feature and testing again.

Hm, even though I'm not a Mac user, I can say now that there shouldn't be any normal problems with the spell stoneskin.

However, it is possible that the fixpack and tweaks mods are conflicting somehow, since both delve into much the same field.

That's only speculation however, I'm afraid.

This problem is beyond the Stoneskin spell. I got another CTD when two party members cast spells at the same time, another when I tried to rest and the "You will do what you must, become what you must" speech by Irenicus came up, and another when I had Aerie cast Chromatic Orb at the tanner in his shop (while two archers were firing arrows into him, and three warriors were hacking at him). The latest CTD just happened as soon as the party entered the Slums from Umar Hills (trying to get Windspear Hills on my map to deliver acorns and to find Kova, from the BTL mod).

After the CTD, I usually clear the /cache/data and /temp folders, but I don't think this helps. I also doubt dropping my resolution to 800x600, or disabling 3D acceleration, would make a difference.

If anyone can help shed some light on this annoying situation, I'll be most grateful
