kpzbg1.exe and polish bg1

There are issues with transcoding BG1 dialog.tlks when kpzbg1.exe is executed after the BGT install as written in postinstall.htm. I did exactly like that and some journal entries were transcoded correctly while some other were left untouched. I did some google search and it seems I'm not the only one person affected with this problem. The solution is to run kpzbg1.exe in BG1 directory BEFORE installing BGT. When I did this everything went smoothly. I think you should update the polish readmes. I can provide you with the polish text if you like.

Since you are currently the only person with this problem, we need to check wherever this will work fine when other people use kpzbg1.exe in the BG1 directory before installing BGT. The current behaviour is to use kpzbg1.exe in the BGT directory after the install of BGT. Your method may have side effects on the BG2 part of the game. Can I get you to liaise with the guys over at the polish forums and check this out? This is for polish version only.

And thanks for a nice welcome.

Edit. There seem to be no problems in BG2. At least not in Irenicus dungeon.
Edit2. Is it possible that adding non-polish mods before BGT screws up kpzbg1.exe conversion in the way I had experienced? I had installed english Chloe before BGT (as written in compatibility list) when I had this problems.

Your native forums. I just need you to check with other players and ensure that this change works for them and there aren't any problems associated with it before I make the change. You're talking about polish forums where I've found the solution or some polish forums here (there are any?)? I can't check myself right now what effect this has on BG2 (if any) since I'm in the middle of BG1 right now but it'll be a matter of time. Or maybe I can. I'll start a new game in SoA and play through Irenicus dungeon just to quick check is it working.
And thanks for a nice welcome.

I'm not sure. I really don't know how kpzbg1.exe works. Again, you could check with others that have installed Chloe before BGT and see if they received the same problem.Edit2. I had to put proper usage instruction of kpzbg1.exe in readme of BGT 1.05, had everything prepared and yet it seems that it is not included in the [Polish]BGTReadme (downloaded install package, checked readme and not even one line about it). Don't know how this happened, I checked translated readme few times and it WAS there. Perhaps I sent you previous version...BTW IIRC on america.iegmc.net there is still 1.04 bgt, not 1.05a.What do you mean? What's a mistake?
