If you want a challenge, as the above setup suggests, there have been stories that a sorcerer is a good class. Thief/Mage or Cleric/Mage could be good choices. Or you could go with a Thief dualed to a Mage, and a Cleric. The reason you don't need a Fighter/Tank is that your levels are high enough to compensate the level difference, at least in theory.

Party members or custom chars?

Then again there is this.
Or you could go with a Thief the dual him to a Cleric and kitted Mage.

But, it will be hard, and as always, as always, how hard depends on what mods and cheats you are willing to use.

What is the requirements for using that mod ? Im thinking about playing without any other BG2 mods... maybe some custom spells / armor / wep additions. If you know about any cool custom spell mod packs please show link ;)

What is the requirements for using that mod ?

 BG2:ToB, with the latest patch.
And Requirements for the kit: Presumably a sorcerer that has,
- 13 Wisdom, 9 Charisma.
- Must be of any Neutral alignment.(True neutral is your best bet.)
After which the kit is gained when you talk to the Aataqah the genie at the start of Chateau Irenicus. Is that it?

 The "cool custom spell packs" aren't very good combination if you use a sorcerer kits as the spell selection can go from moderate to really bad, as there are many doubles and spells that can't be selected as the menu is too small, but here is a list of nearly all that can be found for BG2. Haven't used any, so I can't recomend which to use. ShadowKeeper will help you to select what ever spells you like, if you know how to use it, and edit your char...

 Item and shop links. Exept Improved Anvil, which is a quest, rebalance and item mod. It should be quite difficult, so I wouldn't recommend it to you, if you play with a friend with only one chars each.

Thanks Infinity Engine Modlist.
