This is pretty interesting Neferit, the use of perspective from the journal of a previous adventurer (somewhat reluctant by the sounds of it) really did keep the feel of some of the Diablo 1 events.

Looks very good to me, nice work Neferit. :)

Yeah, the story is nice, and all, but weren't there 5(or 7) heroes!

And although there was quite much descriptions on what had happened to the book, there could have been even more!
But over all, it's a nice piece of work.

Very nice, and very fitting. She (if memory serves, the rogue was female) sounds very reluctant and not quite eager to dive into Hell itself, which is perfectly natural. But, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it the Warrior who beat Diablo in the first game? I thought the Rogue got turned into Bloodraven. Ah, don't mind me. Your story. Besides, liked Rogues better in that game anyway.

Hey, great to see your new story up, Neferit! Especially since I've only recently been introduced to Diablo II itself. Just one thing, though. Perhaps if you're using a word processor like Microsoft Word, you could run your pieces through spellcheck, as the only thing disrupting the flow of reading are a few grammar and spelling errors.

I'm definitely looking forwards to more. Please do continue. :)

Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love

Silent through the sorrow,

Well, I just had to get the story out of my head. I was playing with the idea of posting it for quite long - but I had a bit difficulties with writting it down

Trust me - I had enough troubles even with max. two characters :crying: :whistling:

Yeah, the ending video tells it - if I remember correctly - with the warrior was the one who beat the big-and-bad-Diablo. And I think that even in some of the texts about Diablo II was in Cain's journal that it was warrior.

But Rogue as Blood Raven.. hm... interesting thought ^_^

Well, I usually write all English texts in NotePad, since Word usually screwes the English text, so half of the word are Czech  I always try to fix all the mistakes - but not always I'm succesfull
This story was meant to be just oneshot, but on the other hand... there's the whole Diablo II... where is my copy of the game when I need it?

And thank to all of you for commenting - I really appreciate it
Heck no, b - I used the word the way I use things like "twitter", and "iPod" - my first inclination is to ask "what birdcall are you studying?" and I think of "I pod, You (singular) pod, He pods, She pods, They pod, You (plural) pod, We pod..."

This was very nice. It brought back a lot of memories of the awesome atmosphere (and eternal crashing) of the original Diablo.

Huh, forgot to look here for some time

Yes, the original Diablo... although I'm playing the II, I still have fond memories of my playing I together with Hellfire expansion. Really a pity that there's no chance for playing with Rogue as a main character in II.

The atmosphere in I was really creepy. I remember that I was unable to play the game further than to the first Hell level, 'cause my nerves just couldn't take it. I quite miss the game.

Warrior (Victor) -> Diablo
Rogue (Karena? I think) -> Blood Raven
Sorcerer (No clue) -> Wannabe Horizon

Also, breath out the Diablo fans. There will be a Diablo III, how will it then? Mephisto's Soulstone is destroyed, and so is Bhaals. Well that was planned from little Diablo. He freed himself from the soulstone by Victors help. And thereafter he helped Bhaal and Mephisto get lose from theirs. So when the soulstones were destroyed in Diablo II, it only unlocked the Prime Evils true powers. So prepare for world-dominating in Diablo III, since the Prime Evils have been running around with ~20% of their true powers in Diablo II, they are now at 100% again, and also immortal, they will just reincarnate all over. So prepare for Diablo MMM... even!
