IIRC, the online info mentions that the quest starts by meeting a scared woman in the Temple District. Please provide more info or if there are specific conditions that the PC has to meet in order to play this mod. I tried finding her during the day and at night searching along the thoroughfares and in the temples as well as in the Temple sewer except Mekrath, Eyeless Cult area and area only opened by the key from Windspear.

If you haven't already found her, the screenshot on the download page shows her starting location.
But talking to her isn't the only way to get the initial encounter. Not surprisingly, perhaps, Aidan can be found in the Graveyard District, but only during nighttime hours.
If he isn't there, either, you might have gotten a bad download. It happens sometimes. I'd suggest downloading a fresh copy and reinstalling.
