I was just wondering if someone could suggest some of the best character mods to me, as I'm starting a new playthrough and I'm tired of some in the game.

Moved to IE Modding Discussion.

Aside from Kulyok's recommendations (which I completely agree with), my current favorite NPCs are the Luxleys. Beyond the Law is also good, if you're interested in complex and thought-provoking quests and dialogue--and finally, Nathaniel. :)

Beyond the Law is where my vote goes. Kova and Kiyone have a neat story ;)

I'm fond of Sarah and Amber, both at G3. The Luxley Family is pretty cool, with good voicing, character development and all that jazz.

Nathaniel

The current edition of Nathaniel is buggy as heck, though, so if you're interested in him you'd do best to wait till the new version's out.

People have been covering BG2 pretty thoroughly, but not so much BG1. If you are planning on making this a full-spectrum run, from Candlekeep to the bitter end, you might want to think about EasyTutu or BGT. If you're planning either of those, you might try the BG1 NPC Project, Gavin, or Finch.

Yes, I second Berelinde's recommendations. Both Finch and Gavin are lovely, and BG1NPC gives Baldur's Gate a new lease of life.
