Here is a thought for a mod.
At some point after Aerie is rescued from the circus tent, <CHARNAME> and co. come upon a small group of Avariel who have been set upon by a group of slavers. Aerie, as you might imagine, is even More non-plussed about this than the others, leading the group into a battle. The baddies are dispatched with due speed and before departing, one of the surviving Avariel gives her a special ring as a gesture of friendship.
This ring can transport the group to (one of) the last surviving cities of the Avariel. (Maybe embedded in the branches at the tops of huge trees?) Aerie would be able to get to know her people a little better, though She might be in for an unpleasant surprise if the Avariel look down upon her for her lack of wings...that race seems kind of arogent at times...)
In fact... I remeber seeing in a different section of this forum that CUV was working on importing/fixing up avatars imported from Planescape: Torment. The "Fall From Grace" avitar could do well for Aerie if she was ever able to get NEW wings, and for the various Avariel that the group might encounter.
The mod would consist of one new area (the Avariel city/land) and maybe a few new quests or NPC.
Thots?

They say the world is going to Hell.
They are wrong.
The world IS Hell! Always has been, always will be; except perhaps for the five percent or so of the population who can afford differently.
And, if one must reside in Hell, it is far better to do it as a minion of the Devil than as a member of the damned.

LOVE SUCKS: It makes fools and slaves of us all.
But being alone and unloved is worse.

Well, the only surviving enclave of the Avariel is the Snow Eagle Aerie, in one of the most northern-most parts of the world and hidden in a remote mountain location-I've never been able to find any references outside of Aerie herself for Faenya-Dail or where it might be. The Avariel do indeed look down on those without wings-wingless Avariel are specifically mentioned as being rejected by their society and turning into adventurers.
"The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesterday, but it was never the streets that were evil." - Sister Miriam Godwinson, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

I don't think FFG's wings match the avariel model. You would have to re-draw it, as well as create a new male avariel avatar (because not even elven men look that girly.)
