I am playing a mega install using SoBH 2.10 full for BGT (I think) I chose the latest for the BGT series of stuff.

I have done the following:

Cleared the rats from the burned guard house
cleared the Orc bandits from Bald Hill
cleared the ruins, taken out the Wraith
Cleared the Gnolls out

Then I went to Peltar and told him all that went on. Triggered the second wave of bandits and the quest (curse ) of the black pearl (pun intended)

went north of Restenford and waxed the second wave (?)
took the note back to Peltar and researched the Hand of Glory
Talked to the guards at the west gate
went to the graveyard and entered the sewers
cleared the sewers and the bandits there (not to mention all the other critters -- Good XP)
clicked on the graves to trigger the lighthouse
returned to restenford and talked to the Innkeeper, then the Smythe the Store owner
Went to the Lighthouse and killed the thief there (BTW there was no dialog with the thief)
searched the place and looted everything there.
Went back to Welcar and gave him all the loot.

Then I went to see Peltar and see about getting back to the Sword Coast, only he is not there.
then I went to the bait dealer and had Immy use the hand on the chest of drawers and got the journal. (spy is still alive)
Returned to Peltar, Still not there.
(Save Point)
Then I went to the Castle and tried to find Peltar there, but The Baron attacked me (And I did not kill the spy yet)

quit without saving (still in front of Peltars house)

did I leave anything undone?
is there something I did wrong?
How can I get back to the Sword Coast (I would preferr to finish the quest and get all the XP that I can, but I would rather get on with the game also.)

Please note that u can find Pelltar in his house during the day and in his TOWER during he night, so check the time :-))))

The only thing I see that you missed is that you didn't talk to Almax about Reddy forest and get the martin quest. And as Melkor said Pelltar isn't in the actual castle/mansion of the baron, he's in the tower which is accessable seperately from the mansion(there's and entry to the tower behind the baron's mansion). And that's a unique way of solving the Bait Dealer/Spy quest btw . If you tell the bait dealer about the things you've done around town or even about the rumors you've heard from folks around town you'll get a journal entry (Not a quest entry) about him being Unusually interested in what you're doing. If you then talk to the halfling at the tavern and say you want to ask him some questions you'll find a new option to ask him how often the bait dealer comes in. After you do that talk line with the halfling the bookshelf in the bedroom upstairs becomes an unlocked container where the key to the chest of drawers is hidden. For the Almax quest you have to ask him about the area's around restenford and specifically about Reddy forest in the "Any other areas" dialog line.

Pelltar is in his mansion between like 6:30 and 20:00 hours and in his tower the rest of the time.
