Annoying Haste Glow in IWD2

Pretty self explanatory, does anyone know how I can apply the haste effect to a character in IWD2 without making them glow? I am aware that you can alter their movement speed but it is just not quite the same. I really want to give them permanent hast like I did with BG2 but cannot put up with that constant glowing.

I have tried making them immune to colour changes and glowing effect opcodes and stuff, maybe I am missing something... I'm no expert.
