What modding tools do I need to create a kit?

I have Infinity Explorer and Shadowkeeper, but what other tools do I need to create a kit?

A good text editor, and CamDawg's kit creation tutorial. For the text editor, I'd recommend Crimson Editor, with the highlighters by cmorgan. You can get the links here, and links to many other modding resources besides.
