4.2 possible bugs

Just downloaded the 4.2 release and have been playing and had a few possible problems -

The first is just with Nathaniel-initiated flirts, one time I got a 'NO VALID REPLIES OR LINKS' message. However when I reloaded the game I haven't had this pop up again.

The second was more tricky. It was when Latimer first appears, after he says, "now come here", there was a brief pause and then Nathaniel started his final bit of dialogue (wiping his face and in shock). I reloaded a few times to see if it was just a one-off thing, but it kept happening. After looking atnthe code, it seemed to be the party members comments (I think) that were the problem - so I dumped Anomen and Viconia and the entire conversation went as normal.

Yes, sometimes the message "NO VALID REPLIES OR LINK" appeared also to me when Nathaniel strated to flirt.

I haven't seen the following bug reported in another thread, so I'm going to explain here - there's no reason to open another topic.
I decided to explore Watcher's Keeper while I was playing Shadows of Amn with Nathaniel in my party. When I spoke to Odren, the Cromatic Demon, the mephit in the second level and with Aesgarteh, the dialogues ended prematurely. I think these issues are caused by Nathaniel interjactions: as a matter of fact, if I haven't Nath in my party, the conversations go on with perfectly.
It happened the same thing when I met Garren Windspear after killing the paladins.

I also have the occasion to witness that bug of "NO VALID REPLIES OR LINK", but I've not entered the second level of the keep. Anyway I also noticed that becoming the Slayer creates issues with Nathaniel. Do you remember the bug, time ago, where after a dialouge Nathaniel couldn't move more than some steps, than he stops as if someone told him to, in fighting position? Well...it happens even with this.

P.S. Ah, I forgot. In Cernd kid's quest, after you kill the foster father of the kid, if you have Nathaniel in party, Cernd won't talk to you to tell he's going to take his baby to the Druid's Groove, and will just stay in the party.

Just a precise information.

I explored the two latest levels of Watcher's Keep with Nathaniel during ToB and his interjactions worked. I suppose that the problem I explained in the other post depended by fact that you coded his comments with ToB prefix, right?

In any case, I fairly liked this mod! :cheers:
