I've tried installing the bigger world map, the RTTSetup15, and the SoSv1.12 and every single file says the exact thing when i try to install it. <"Unable to find DIALOG.TLK">
:crying: It's really bumming me out and i have no idea how to fix it. I downloaded the patch from Bioware and the custom voice files from this site... That's all the mods i've installed. I don't know if that helps any but i hope i can get a fix for this soon... I've already finished the game over and over again but i still love it so much!! I was hoping i could download a few things to add to it a little bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

You have to make sure the mods and files are extracted to or copied to the BG2 folder. Then run the set-up.exe (for whatever mods) again.

How to install a mod:
  • Go to the download location, and find the mod you want to install
  • Save the downloaded mod to your game directory
  • If it's a RAR file, right-click and choose "Extract here"
  • If it's a ZIP file, right-click and unzip to your game directory
  • If it's an EXE, double click and extract it to your game directory
  • You should be looking at a mod folder and something like setup-MyMod.exe. Sometimes there are other files, like something with a .tp2 extension, or other files, but you should definitely see something entitled setup-MyMod.exe. If you don't, check to make sure the files aren't nested inside another folder. They really shouldn't be, but sometimes,... well, we all package in a hurry, sometimes. If they are, open the folder, and copy/paste the contents to your game directory.
  • Double-click on setup-mymod.exe.
  • Mod will install.
Don't be discouraged, if it takes you a try or two to get it right. I still mess it up sometimes, and I'm supposed to know what I'm doing.
