And, well, yeah. I guess the title says it all. Hi. I figured that, well, maybe there are a lot of people who only like, draw or photo edit or whatever once or twice. Or at least rather rarely. Or that some people are silly and not confident enough to OMG CREATE A WHOLE THREAD OF THEIR OWN JUST TO SHOW OFF THEIR ART. And, um.. I am really bad at creating topics.

I only have one picture to show, really.

Posted Image

I'm happy with it.. I suppose. It is a nice contrast to the original!

Posted Image

You do not wish to know how many hours I spent playing around with Photoshop.

(Also, even with my extensive editing, does anyone notice where the body is from? I've cut it in from another picture... a screenshot, actually, from a clip from a movie which I found on Youtube.)

And, um.. well, yes.

Heh, cool beans, Choo Choo :) .

I guess I have some miscellany stuff to which I don't care to devote a whole new thread.

Some Disney's Gargoyles (big fan that I am!) fanart:
img035.jpg img047.jpg
First one has some flaws, but quite a few people seemed to like it. Second one I intend to color...sooner or later...after I address a few issues with the line-art.

These next three are from a story I like to toy around with as a source of artistic inspiration:
img040.jpg
undead_sword.jpg
img024.jpg
Y'all might recognize Necromancer Lady (first one of these three) from the fanart challenges as well as another thread I created some time ago. I tried out a new outfit on her in this last one.

The last one is just some fantasy beast I drew up on a whim:
img038.jpg

And that's about all I care to show here (for now, at least ;) ).

Two layers of messy paint, large ripples (999), motion blur and spots.

Then a smudge of paint for an eye.

Just some things I've done in the last few weeks that I've decided to take up drawing...

Messing around with Derwent Graphitint pencils:

Amaurea, after seeing what you are capable of drawing, I can't see why you ever stopped in the first place. Be sure you don't do it again!

Thank you! I'm kicking around some ideas for fantasy pieces atm. Hopefully I'll come up with something interesting.

There's some great pics in here. Amaurea, you should definitely keep up the art exercise, you're great at it :)

These two I did for school last semester:

That's Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin and Talib Kweli respectively.

This is something I did last whipped up last night because I wanted to just get back to drawing with Photoshop:

@RedTyga: The first and last ones are pretty nifty, but I'd say the middle one tops 'em; it has great texture on the jacket collar. What medium is that?

Thanks, the middle one is done with regular ol' rembrant pastels on white 18 x 24 drawing paper. I had fun doing the texture on that piece too, it was the first pastel drawing that I willingly did and found myself really digging exploring what I could do with the pastels and how to mix the colors.

Wow! You people are amazing! If I had your skill and imagination I'd open a studio, never mind a new thread.

Since I can't draw or paint at all, I have to play with stuff in Photoshop. I have started doing a visual tribute to the bigg's analytical run-thrugh of BG2. Mine is going to be a visual run-through as in the attached screen capture.

If any of you want to make screen captures at any stage of any game in BG2 and send them to me, I shall be most grateful. It doesn't matter which NPCs you're using. All I want is a scene or two from every area. Hey? hey? If you want to email instead of PM'ing with attachments: christopher@webweavers.co.za
