Dodecahedron bug finally resolved, I think.

I think I nailed this bastard of a bug, finally.

For those not aware of it, what several people were reporting is that when opening up the dodecahedron, the dialogue would hang just as they got the "it beings to unfold" state. There was no "Click for More" and no reply to click on, and they'd just get stuck. It should be noted that this would only happen to people whose TNO had less than 16 INT.

What I'm now pretty sure is causing it is the "Use Floating Text Globally" tweak (and it happened before I ever came along cause of Platter's similar tweak). That tweak, with the bigger font, would be enough to make that state's text take up more than one screen. When that happens in a state with no reply, it hangs just as described.

And I think the reason Clan Dlan had the reply in their version that made me think it was some rogue bugged version with a blank reply out there was actually their -fix- to the problem. In their translated dialog.tlk, the reply they added wasn't blank, it was "Continue.". This gives you something to click on so you can proceed. They must've run into the issue first because their translated version of that text is just sufficiently longer than the english version to cause them the problem without the Font tweak installed.

That's why I'm not posting this under the Tweak forum, since the Font tweak isn't strictly necessary to make it happen, a slightly longer translation can do it too. So I'm resolving it in pretty much the same way they did, adding a "Continue..." reply to the state, and that should fix it right up.

There is of course the possibility that a single state that has too much text, particularly with the Font tweak, could cause this problem again somewhere else, but it's only a problem if the given state has no replies, so that reduces the risk considerably. Still, it's something translators might want to bear in mind when dealing with strings that are already exceptionally long.

Lots of thanks to Miloch and Zyrica for helping me eliminate my previous incorrect suspicions of what was causing the problem, so I could finally zero in on the right one :)
