I've been planning on making a romanceable npc mod for some time but only managed into finalizing my concept just a while ago.
First off, the reason of making this mod is that I've been playing bg2 with a female pc for quite some time and, as most of us would want (i think), find an interesting romanceable npc to pair her off with other than Anomen (h8 that whiny bast***) all the while satisfying one's taste.
I've also been searching for romanceable male npc mods for her but, to tell the truth, no one has been quite up for my taste (no offense!) So anyway, after months of conceptualizing, I've finally decided to rip him out from the planes of Sigil using my huge levitating hand in the sky, and flung him to Amn (wee!!)
Here's what i came up with:
Valleth (Random name from Tactics Ogre - Knight of Lodis, not real name however)
Race: Tiefling (appears human)
Class: Modified Kensai
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
STR: 18/100
DEX: 20
CON: 17
INT: 18
WIS: 19
CHA: 15
Yes, he is overpowered.
Yes, he will raise Hell on <CHARNAME>,s enemies. Yes, literally.
Bio (Subjected to change): When asked about his past, Valleth fixed his crimson eyes by yours. Chills are sent down to your spine you suddenly stepped back out of impulse, but as he looks away, a glint of pain reflected ever so vague but deeply overwhelms you. He remains silent as he returns back on what he was doing. You couldn?t help but feel a mixed emotion of fear and pity as you begin to wonder what it was that caused such grief to a person of his character.
Personality:
At first, one would think of him as a cold and apathetic individual. Doesn't give much thought on his words if it would hurt, though they are rare. He kills without a second thought and doesn't really care of who he is employed so long as he gets paid. He is quiet, often keeping thoughts to himself even if it could benefit the wholeness of the party. In short, he would most likely to appear as of evil alignment but alas, he is not.
Once you get to break his cold exterior, you would see him as a deep, caring and beautiful person. Attending to his beloved's needs whatever it may be (so long as it does not cross his personal sense of right and honor), protecting, although most of the time unseeingly, the people he grew fond with, loyal and undeniably sexxy!
Past: (Subjected to change)
He hails from Tethyr. Born of a half-elven mother, a priestess of Sune and an Archdemon (preferably an intermediate power seeking kingship).
During his mother's time as a priestess of Sune, her mother went on a pilgrimage to spread the Sune's whatnots and grace. Her beauty was thought to be a gift of Sune to her and therefore she was hailed as a direct intermediary of Sune. However, in her last pilgrimage, a cult was performing sacrificial acts to bolster their Archdemon god and so, she was captured and offered. Instead of devouring her, she was impregnated so that the child she bore would spread chaos and destruction in the Archdemon's name, thus making it stronger. After the incident, she was shunned and spat on by society believing she would only bring chaos and destruction upon her wake. Many times she would try to end her life only to be saved by the Archdemon's power. she lost all hope and will until she was taken by a lone fallen paladin trying to redeem his name. Slowly, she was restored to grace with the help of the paladin and obviously, they became a couple. the mother warned his beloved of the demon's child she is bearing but the paladin saw this as a hope instead of despair for the both to be redeem. The time came when the demon child was finally delivered, the couple tried their utmost in raising this one on the path of good and fortunately, they became very successful. The demon child grew up into a beautiful young man carrying the hopes and dreams of his parents. He is well aware of his origins and what troubles he must face and what plight he must undergo for himself and his family. After being successful with their first child, the mother bore a child from her husband and later came to be as the demon child's beloved sister.
(Ok, so thats the good part of his life, next it the bad part.)
Enraged by the discovery of his spawn's failure, the Archdemon ascended to the mortal plains and hunted the couple responsible. He brutally murdered the couple in front of the demon child's eyes and fed him with hatred and despair. Because of this, the young mind of the demon child became twisted and had his own fair share of breakdown. he left the scene walked aimlessly in the brooding attempt to become stronger and take revenge for his deceased.
Sorry if it was too long, but i just wanted to give you a background so that you'll know why he became the person that he is today. His personality as well as his romance will be heavily based On this. oh yeah, i forgot, his sister will have a vital role and probably a turning point in his romance.
To top it all up, here's a scan of my first rough sketch of his.
I intend on making his hair black, eyes red, skin a bit of palish. I also have an alternative hairstyle similar to Cernd's
I still have some other things i did not discuss here so as to prevent additional spoilers.
