When I came across this site i was overjoyed by the amount of mods for BG 2, so, like an idiot I installed a whole group of them at once instead of installing them one by one and checking for errors, So therefore I dont know which specific mod is causing this bug, but maybe someone here can tell me.

It lies with whatever mod contains the Athlatka tax collector, where every time you enter the city the collector aproaches you and demands money. Well, the first time it didnt bug out but the second time I enter the city it didnt stop spawning tax collectors and guards and supplied me with an endless amount of redundant dialogue. I tried checking the script code in Near Infinity, and even tried to remove the script all together, but for some reason i couldnt. is this a common error, and does anyone have a solution? I appreciate the help.

...

Can you copy paste your WeiDU.log content? It will help us.
To do this, just open the file(WeiDU.log) with any text editor(Wordpad or Notepad, for example).

It sounds like it is from Check the Bodies and the "quest" will finish after you have paid the sum of 6000 gold (the tax collector will spawn demanding more and more each time until 6000). Also you can role play and you should have options in the responses to not pay. That spawn script is in the massive BALDUR.BCS.
