I'm trying to make a list(hopefully a detailed one) of unused Bioware BG2 content or ideas. Basically a list of all of biowares unused/unfinished content within the game.

examples: based on supported rumor


Valygar Romance


"The fact that TOB was supposed to be a game in it's own right

Yoshimo returning in ToB as a quasi-(un)dead. (I believe only if the heart was brought to Ilmater)

Haer'Dalis summoning quest(mage starts summoning Haerry and group. Must find a way to stop it.)

Viconia Expanded Underdark (Viconia attempts to turn in the PC for a return into her world, doesn't go through with it(maybe just in romance), don't believe there were comments on House DeVir unless it was part of the quest)"

Don't recall any others off the top of my head. All from a thread on the attic which I'll try to link when I get a few minutes to dig it up.

Indeed, but as she noted it's supposed to be unused content. And I believe UB has said that such things as Yoshimo's return and Valygar romance are beyond the scope of that mod.

and you are absolutely correct, I'm talking true blue unused content

Since my PC is almost always a fighter type, I never bother about the various stronghold quests other than the D'Arnise ones.

If you include spells and weapons in unused content, I never use most of the mage spells, especially at higher levels where just about all I need are Mordy Swords, Planetars and Time Stop. As for weapons, I have never sought proficiency in spears, daggers, darts, bastard swords or axes.

I have never had Mazzy in the party long enough to do any of her quests.

Regarding races, classes and kits, my PC has never been a halfling, gnome or dwarf; a bard or a barbarian; or any specialist mage.

Not once have I accepted the quest in the Underdark to assassinate the Drow priestess.
