Hello there,

I'm working on Breagar, a dwarven NPC, for quite a long time now and I'm proud to say that he already gained a few fans already, at least in Germany. That's mainly because I can read and understand english quite well, but when it comes to writing, it is a litte bit harder. So I'm looking for somebody who can help me and translate german to english... Anyone? :)

1. Is this mod released, or is it still in beta?
ATM, it is in alpha ansd still being developed, but it's likely to be releases about January 2009.

2. If this mod is still in beta, are dialogue additions likely?
It could be, since my best Ideas come while playing. And I've planned a rather big crossmod-section that will be updated everytime I come along another mod.

3. Is this mod already traified?
Will be.

4. If traified, are you willing to supply the accompanying code, should the translator wish to view the lines in context?
Sure, I'll be there for any help, since the mod will be aktively supported.

5. Approximately how many lines need translation?
I really can't tell. What I can say is that it will be more than 3000.

6. Describe the particulars of the mod (type of mod, brief summary of any NPCs involved)!
Breagar is a dwarven NPC how will join Charname shortly after he/she left Candlekeep and will stay with the group until the end of ToB. His Story involves zwo Quests, one i

7. Preferred languages?
Every language that is available.

8. Please list other mods by the same author, if any, for comparison of writing style.
You can check out Breagar v.3.4 at www.rosenranken.de. This is NOT the Mod that needs a translation, v.4 will be updated in many ways.

9. Any deadlines?
No

10. What game and what mod is this for?
Breagar is designed for Baldur's Gate Trilogy and carefully programmed to work best for the BiG World Project by Leonardo Watson and Leomar and all the others.

11. Anything else you'd like to mention?
hope to hear from you soon!

Translation help should go in Resource Requests. If you update your post to follow the guidelines, we can move it there later.

Your English writing skills seem fine to me, judging by your post.

My english works just fine for communications and I have tried a translation already by myself - and it sucked. There was no good flow in the words, there was no "poetry", if you know, what I mean.

I translated my mod myself but it usually takes about 4 native speaking proof readers to make it sound good (there is only so much one proof reader can do with my phrasings). So, I know what Ascalon means!
And I would be happy someone would be interested. Hey, we are talking about a non-elven / human NPC here!

I can attempt to translate it to English if it is traified.
It will take me quite a while maybee a couple months when I start.
I would need a copy of the latest content that you have.

Thanks. I think there will be plenty of room, there is a lot to translate. I hope that in the beginning of March I have everything ready so far. The Mod can be played already, starting at candlekeep and ending at the Throne of Bhaal, but there are a few Banterm Interjections and comments left to do.
